Having a history of more than 30 years in the town of Kearny, New Jersey, in 2018 Simões & Almeida Quality Meats merged with Firepit Quality Meats in the town of North Arlington, New Jersey, becoming your local neighborhood market bringing you the best the world has to offer — now with two locations for your convenience. We carry Certified Angus Beef, Hatfield Farm pork, U.S. veal, New Zealand lamb, special order game meats, Purdue chicken, and Bell & Evans Organic products.

We also carry a large variety of European smoked sausages and charcuterie such as Jamon Serrano from Spain, Presunto from Portugal, and Prosciutto Di Parma from Italy. We are known for our European gourmet groceries that include varieties of cheeses, butters, extra virgin olive oils, vinegars, pastas, sauces, and desserts.

In 2015, we proceeded with adding a variety of Norwegian Salted Cod (Bacalhau) and frozen seafood, which includes octopus from Spain and sardines from Portugal.
